Covering It Up

I love food. I think it's pretty obvious via my Instagram. However, food doesn't always love me back. Sometimes it rebels in the form of cellulite. That's right. I said it. Dimply, cottage cheese that lives on my thighs. It pisses me off. I hate it. Rawrrr. Cellulite is officially public enemy #1.

I've been thinking about this enemy for the last couple of weeks, as I've come to the realization that I will be wearing a swimsuit in less than a month. This thought has made me feel like this:

The Middle Part

Do you notice hair trends? I do. I feel like last year was the year of the bang (as seen here and here). This year, it seems to be all about the middle part, and I want it.

You would think that because hair is so easily transformed, it would be easy for me to just hop on the hair bandwagon of my dreams; however, my genetics hate me and I was born with a cowlick [damn shit] that constantly prevents me from wearing the trendy hairstyles I desire, like the middle part! I present exhibit A and B:

A: Super gross.

B: Close up. That's a spicy meatball.

So what's a girl to do when she wants to wear the trendiest hairstyles but has a cowlick? She makes the best of it. She settles on an off-center, "middle part" and then secures it down with bobby pins...

Snow Boots That Don't Look Like Snow Boots

Living in Colorado, one must consider the 3 W's when buying boots: Warm, (all) Weather and Waterproof. Following this 3 W's rule will ensure warm and dry feet during wet and cold conditions. Unfortunately, this rule often times limits your choices to ugly practical boots that you change out of as soon as you reach your car. Below, I have compiled a list of cute snow boots that (in my opinion) don't look like snow boots. (I think I'll be purchasing the Born Shyras for this winter). Check em.
